Thinking About Taking the Online Vintage Plunge?

Published by cc417 at 9:02 am under thrift, vintage Edit This

Maybe you don’t have a good (or great) vintage store in your town.  Maybe you don’t really like going inside the store.  Maybe you work weird hours and can never make it in the physical store.  But for whatever reason, you’re thinking about buying vintage clothing online.  You can get really quality vintage or used clothing online, but you need to make sure you do your homework first.  60s Vintage Dress Go with what you (or at least others) know.  If you pick an online vintage store with a really good reputation, or one that you or your friends have had good luck with before, you’re going to be much better off than if you take a chance on an unknown.  Popular online vintage shops like Etsy are much more likely to sell you quality products because they have a reputation to uphold.  Remember that there are scammers out there, and with online buying, you have to pay before you receive the product.  There is always the chance that you will end up with a poor quality garment or no garment at all, and when you call Customer Service to demand a refund or exchange, the number’s diconnected.  Not fun.
