Great Find and A Word About Being a Newbie.
Yes, all, I am a newbie here at Today. That’s probably why yesterday’s blog “A Word about Thrift Stores” failed miserably. The text runs off the page, and the YouTube video didn’t show up. I edited the thing four times. I have no idea why it’s not working. I apologize profusely and really hope this post goes a lot better. We’ll see. And thanks to Rhonda for commenting. Yay! Somebody likes me!Now, onto the good stuff. I’ve desperately attempted to attach the pic of today’s great find. I hope against hope that you can see it, because these are fabulous boots from ModCloth, a retro fashion website, and they’re only $14.95….75% off! ModCloth is a really great site that sells both genuine vintage and clothing that’s just inspired by vintage. They do a really good job of following trends and incorporating vintage style to fit. The only problem is that a lot of their stuff is really expensive, and that problem plagues a lot of trendy vintage stores. Enter their clearance page! I comb it a lot, and sometimes the stuff on clearance for a reason…sometimes it’s really good stuff. Like these boots. Here’s the URL in case you want to pick up a pair before they’re gone: http://www.modcloth.com/store//ModCloth/Clearance/Sweet+Sixteen+Boots+in+Beige You’re welcome!
